Yokogawa DO30G is a dissolved oxygen sensor designed for use with dissolved oxygen analyzers in water quality and process monitoring applications. It is suitable for water treatment plants, sewage treatment works, effluent activated sludge process, potable water treatment, river monitoring, intake protection and fish farming.


The DO30G galvanic cell sensor provides fast response, good long-term stability and easy maintenance with replaceable diaphragm and cable. A built-in temperature sensor is incorporated for temperature compensation.

The DO30G uses a special electrolyte to shorten electrolyte stabilization time and support stable measurement over a long period of operation.


The cartridge-type membrane design helps make diaphragm replacement easier during routine maintenance.


The 50 micrometer membrane provides high tear resistance and helps reduce the influence of air bubbles during dissolved oxygen measurement.


The sensor can be used with PB350G / PB360G floating ball holders or with the DOX8HS submersion type holder, depending on installation requirements.

Dissolved oxygen measurement range is 0 to 20 mg/L (ppm). Liquid temperature range is 0 to 40°C, liquid pressure is 0 to 100 kPa, and required flow speed is 20 cm/s or more.


Wetted part materials include rigid polyvinyl chloride, stainless steel, fluorinated ethylenepropylene, nitrile rubber, heat-resistant soft polyvinyl chloride and polycarbonate.


Available cable lengths include 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, 15 m and 20 m. Approximate sensor weight is 0.3 kg plus 0.12 x cable length in meters.


Repeatability is 0.1 mg/L or 3% FS, whichever is greater, including sensor. Response time is within 2 minutes for 90% response, including sensor.


Temperature compensation error is within +/-3% FS for a +/-5°C change in the 0 to 40°C range, including sensor.


Model and Options

Typical DO30G model structure includes DO30G-NN-50 with selectable cable length and cable terminal options. Cable length options include -03, -05, -10, -15 and -20 for 3 m, 5 m, 10 m, 15 m and 20 m.


Cable terminal options include -PN pin terminal, -FL M4 ring terminal and -FM M3 ring terminal. Terminal box WTB10 and maintenance parts set DOX8A are also available according to system requirements.
